& FREE FLYING ROV:S
Lidan Marine has supplied Launch And Recovery Systems (LARS) for the Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) market since 1990’s. Over the years Lidan Marine have built up a unique portfolio of proven designs of A-frame LARS, Crane LARS and Over head travelling LARS.
SINCE 1909
Functionality
Lidan Marine LARS technology combines the latest functions with the highest demands on durability. A LARS from Lidan Marine can be fully customized for any specific need you might have.
Some examples from clients are:
Hydraulic or electric winch drive
Constant tension or AHC function
“Drop in Drum feature” for safe and fast change of the drum
Constraints
Lidan Marine designs the LARS depending on end-user constraints. This can be various demanding constraints such as footprint adopted for ISO container measures or if the LARS needs to be transported by airfreight. Setting restrictions on weight and dimensions. Also if fastening to a surface (deck) is not possible a gravity-based LARS (with ballast tank) can be the alternative.
At the same time the equipment is designed to be fully foldable and self erecting, ready for operation with minimum impact on time and effort.
Classification
Our LARS is always as a minimum designed in accordance with the latest edition of,
DNVGL-ST-0378 Standard for offshore platform lifting appliances
DNVGL-ST-E273 Portable Offshore Unit
Optional classification (as per below) can also be added to your design criteria:
ATEX – Zone II – Operation
IECEx – Zone II – Certification
Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC
Low Voltage Directive, 2006/95/EG
EMC, 2004/108/EG
RoHS, 2002/95/EG
Our standard operating temperature range is +40 to -20 deg.C with special “kits” for extreme cold and extreme heat condition available.
